被监禁的路透社记者 Wa Lone 和 Kyaw Soe Oo 在缅甸总统特赦后获释。
They were convicted under the Official Secrets Act and were sentenced last September to seven years in jail.
The pair had reported that state security forces executed 10 Muslim Rohingya during a military operation in 2017.
Their imprisonment was widely condemned and called "damaging" to freedom of the press in the country.
As he left the prison on the outskirts of Yangon, Wa Lone, 33, told the BBC's Nick Beake that he would never stop being a journalist.

Trump pardons U.S. soldier who killed Iraqi prisoner
President Trump has pardoned a former U.S. soldier convicted in 2009 of killing an Iraqi prisoner, the White House announced Monday.
Mr. Trump signed an executive grant of clemency, a full pardon, for former Army 1st Lt. Michael Behenna, of Oklahoma, press secretary Sarah Sanders said in a statement.
Behenna was convicted of unpremeditated murder in a combat zone after killing a suspected al Qaeda terrorist in Iraq. He was paroled in 2014 and had been scheduled to remain on parole until 2024.
Tiny T. rex relative identified
History's most frightening dinosaur, the Tyrannosaurus rex, came from a long line of pipsqueaks.
Scientists have identified a new cousin of the T. rex as a dinosaur that only reached the three-foot height of a toddler. If it stretched its duck-billed head, an adult human maybe "would be looking at it in the eye," said Sterling Nesbitt, a paleontologist at Virginia Tech, who discovered the dinosaur.
Nesbitt found a set of its bones in 1998 when he was 16, while serving as a volunteer on a dig in New Mexico with a famed paleontologist. But for about two decades, scientists weren't certain what it was, until other small cousins of T. rex were discovered.
Abe sticks to constitutional revision by 2020 amid opposition
Prime Minister Shinzo Abe marked Constitution Day on May 3 by reiterating his oft-stated intention to revise pacifist Article 9 of the Constitution that stipulates Japan cannot possess military forces.
“By writing the Self-Defense Forces clearly into the Constitution, I will put an end to an argument on the SDF's legality,” Abe said in a video message to a gathering in Tokyo that supports constitutional revision.
Abe also said his goal of effecting constitutional change in 2020 remains unchanged in spite of the fact that Diet deliberations on this issue remain stalled due to differences between the ruling Liberal Democratic Party and the opposition camp.
安倍晋三还表示，他在2020年实现宪法改革的目标没有改变，尽管由于执政的自民党(Liberal Democratic Party)和反对党阵营之间的分歧，国会对这个问题的讨论仍然停滞不前。
